Confirmation of Booking

Once your dates have been confirmed as available you will be required to pay a deposit. The deposit will be 20% of the full amount and is non-refundable. The deposit is required within 7 days of booking or your dates will be re-allocated. Payment can be made securely on line or by bank transfer. Our bank details will be forwarded to you upon request. If payment does not clear, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Payment

You must pay your final balance at least 6 weeks before your holiday departure date. If the balance is not received by the due date we have the right to cancel your booking. If payment does not clear, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Should your holiday begin within 6 weeks of booking you will be required to pay the full amount upon booking.

Accommodation

Your accommodation will be available upon arrival. The normal check-out time from the Villa will be 12noon. You may remain in the villa after 12noon and up until 3 hours before your flight for a small additional charge of GB£20.

Transfer to the Villa

We can supply you with contact information for car hire/taxi. We have negotiated a 10% discount with Nissos Tours for car hire for guests staying at Villa Fia. Please see their weblink on our website. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any agreements entered into with third parties and it remains your responsibility to make separate payment for taxi, transfers and car hire.

We would strongly recommend that you arrange taxi transfer between Airport and Villa Fia with a company that knows the local area. Many flights arrive late at night, not all roads are clearly signposted and the potential for getting lost is high, even in daylight. Should you wish to hire a car from the airport then these are available through Hertz, Avis or a local firm also detailed on our website.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the car, the condition of the car, the insurance of the car, the delivery or uplift of the car. It remains your responsibility to make a separate agreement with the car hire company and payment should be made directly to them.

Cancellation

If you have to cancel your holiday you must submit it in writing either by email or post. The cancellation date will be the date we receive written notification. A cancellation fee will apply. Cancellation charges are as follows:

42-55 days before departure: 50%
32-41 days before departure: 60%
22-31 days before departure: 80%
21-00 days before departure: 100%


We reserve the right to cancel any reservation as a result of force majeure, war or threat of war, riots, civil strike, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or similar events beyond our control. We will always follow the advice issued by the British Government with regard to travel safety. If we make such a cancellation we will either offer the client a full refund* of all monies paid, including deposit, or negotiate new holiday dates.

*Does not include air tickets, car hire payments, taxi transfers. Only refers to Villa Fia itself.

Conduct

If your behaviour or the behaviour of any member of your party or a guest of yours whilst accommodated in the villa is considered inappropriate, anti-social or likely to cause damage to the property or distress to others then we reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately and you will be requested to leave the premises. A full report will be made to the local police and it will be the responsibility of the hirer to pay for damage in full. It will further be the responsibility of the hirer to arrange alternative accommodation.

Travel Documents and Holiday Insurance
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary travel documentation and adequate holiday insurance.

Complaints

Any complaints should be made either to the maintenance representative in the first instance, or to the owners themselves.
